What people are usually looking for

When people describe what they actually want, it tends to fall into a few familiar situations:

Every booking is per hour, and every experience takes place at a Meezoy Verified Spot: a public café, restaurant or market where the setting is open and other people are around.

What Meezoy is not

This part matters as much as the last, so it is worth being direct.

• Meezoy is not a dating app. There is no matching, no romantic intent and nothing of that kind expected or implied.
• It is not romantic in any way. A Coffee booking is for coffee. A Food booking is for a meal. A Shopping booking is for shopping.

How Local Partners are verified

Before anyone can accept a booking, they go through the same process. Every Local Partner is 18 or older, verifies their identity with a government photo ID and a live selfie, and is reviewed by the Meezoy team before going live. Local Partners are approved for each activity separately, so being approved for Coffee does not automatically mean being approved for Food or Shopping.

The process is simple and stays inside the app from start to finish.

• Choose an activity. Coffee, Food or Shopping, depending on how you would like to spend the time.
• Choose a verified Local Partner. Every profile you see belongs to someone approved for that activity.
• Pick a time and a length. Bookings are by the hour, so you see the price before you confirm.
• Pay in the app. Payment for the experience is handled inside Meezoy.
• Chat in the app. Any coordination before the day happens in Meezoy's chat, not on another platform.
• Meet at the Verified Spot. Enjoy the activity, then rate each other afterwards.

Is Meezoy a dating app?

Where do activities happen?
