Meezer Terms & Conditions (v1.0)

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Meezer Terms and Conditions ("Meezer Terms") govern your use of the Meezoy app and website, operated by Meezoy Ventures Private Limited ("Meezoy", "we", "us"), as a customer ("Meezer", "you"). By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these Meezer Terms together with our Terms of Service, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy, which form part of these Meezer Terms. If these Meezer Terms and the Terms of Service differ, the Terms of Service apply. In these terms, "Local Partner" means a person who offers experiences on Meezoy (called a "Companion" in earlier versions).

2. What Meezoy Is (Strictly Platonic, Not a Dating App)

Meezoy is an online marketplace that connects you with independent, verified Local Partners for activity experiences such as coffee, food and shopping at public places. Meezoy provides the platform; it does not provide the experiences itself.

STRICTLY NOT A DATING APP: Meezoy is not a dating, matchmaking, escort or hookup service. It is only for platonic, social activities in public.

3. Bookings Are Agreed Between You and the Local Partner

  • Both sides agree: you choose the Local Partner, the activity, the date, the time and the place, and the Local Partner chooses whether to accept. A booking exists only once both of you have agreed.
  • Meezoy is not a party: the agreement for the experience is directly between you and the Local Partner. Meezoy does not take part in, supervise or control the experience, and Local Partners are not Meezoy's employees or agents.
  • Public places only: bookings must take place at public places such as cafes, restaurants or malls. Never agree to meet at a private home, hotel room or any place that is not public.
  • Stay in the app: make and change bookings, and message the Local Partner, only through Meezoy. Do not ask for personal phone numbers or arrange bookings outside the app.

4. Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

  • Pay only through the app. Meezoy collects payments on behalf of Local Partners as a limited payment collection agent. Pay in cash only where the app shows a cash amount for that booking, and never pay a Local Partner any other amount, tip or deposit outside the app.
  • Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy, including the cancellation rules shown when you book. The refund amount shown in the app before you cancel is the amount refunded.
  • The profile unlock and Thailand trip planning fees are non-refundable once paid. Costs at the place (food, drinks, shopping, tickets) are paid to the venue and are not refundable by Meezoy.

5. Code of Conduct for Meezers

Treat every Local Partner with dignity and respect, in the app and in person. You must not:

  • request or suggest any romantic arrangement, date, physical intimacy or sexual service;
  • touch a Local Partner without consent, or harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against them;
  • pressure them to go to a private place or to change the agreed place;
  • be drunk, under the influence of drugs, violent or aggressive during a booking;
  • photograph or record them without consent, or share their personal details; or
  • ask for their personal contact details or offer payment outside the app.

If you break these rules, the Local Partner may end the booking straight away and leave, and Meezoy may cancel the booking. No refund is given: the amount paid, travel charges, credits and any coupon used on that booking are forfeited. Your account may be suspended or permanently closed, and we may report the matter to the police. Full details are in Section 10 of our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Your Safety and Responsibility

You take part in every booking voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for your own judgement, safety, health and belongings. Verification of Local Partners and our list of public Verified Spots reduce risk but are not a guarantee about any person, place or outcome. If you ever feel unsafe, leave, go somewhere safe and call 112, then report it to us.

7. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meezoy is not responsible for the acts, omissions, statements or conduct of any Local Partner, or for any incident, accident, injury, illness, loss, theft or damage before, during or after a booking, including at a venue or while travelling. Any claim about the experience itself lies between you and the Local Partner. Meezoy's total liability is limited as set out in the Terms of Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

You agree to indemnify Meezoy against any claim, loss or cost (including legal fees) arising from your conduct towards a Local Partner or any other person, your bookings, or your breach of these terms or the law.

8. Disputes and Governing Law

These Meezer Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are resolved as set out in the Terms of Service, through our Grievance Officer first and then by arbitration seated in Hyderabad, Telangana.
